It is drained by the Randselva river.

Dokka is the administrative centre of Nordre Land Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The village is located at the confluence of the rivers Dokka and Etna, about north of the lake Randsfjorden, the fourth largest lake in Norway. The Østsinni Church is located on the north edge of the village.

Dokkfløyvatnet or Dokkfløy is a lake which lies in Gausdal Municipality and Nordre Land Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The lake is part of the river Dokka. When the Dokkfløy Dam was built on the river, the lake was created. The lake sits at an elevation of above sea level. The water from the lake is piped through tunnels to the nearby hydroelectric power station. The lake is located about to the southwest of the village of Forset and about to the west of the town of Lillehammer.

Akksjøen is a lake in Nordre Land Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The lake lies in the southwest part of the municipality, about to the southwest of the village of Dokka and about to the south of the village of Nordsinni. The lake is in length and around in width. Spåtind is a mountain in Innlandet county, Norway. The tall mountain is located on the border of Etnedal Municipality and Nordre Land Municipality about west of the town of Lillehammer and about northeast of the town of Fagernes. The mountain lies a few kilometers south of the border of Langsua National Park.
