North Tzoumerka

Syrrako (, between 1940–2002: Σιράκο, Sirako; ) is a village and a former community in the Ioannina regional unit, Epirus, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality North Tzoumerka, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 29.307 km2. It is located 52 km southeast of Ioannina at an altitude of 1200 m, on the mountain Peristeri. It is built on a steep slope and retains its traditional buildings.

The community consists of the villages Kalarrytes and Mystras.

Vathypedo (, before 1928: Προσβάλα, Prosvala; ) is a village and a former community in the Ioannina regional unit, Epirus, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality North Tzoumerka, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 10.127 km2. Its population was 89 in 2021. Vathypedo is located on the slopes of the Sarmanitsa hill and a flat area at a lower altitude is formed and drained by a stream called Goura, a tributary of the Arachthos.

Chouliarades (Greek: Χουλιαράδες) is a village in the municipality of North Tzoumerka, Greece. It is a traditional settlement since November 23, 1998 (Law 908D) and its code number is 12317201. The village is well known for its singing tradition: one of the villagers, Gakis Sontis, was recorded in 1930 by the Folklore Music Archive of Melpo Merlie.

The seat of the municipality was in Chouliarades.

The community consists of the villages Platanoussa, Dafni and Zoodochos Pigi. Platanoussa is situated on the eastern slope of the Xerovouni mountain, above the right bank of the river Arachthos, at about 460 m above sea level. It is 8 km northeast of Anogeio, 29 km north of Arta and 31 km southeast of Ioannina.

It is situated on a mountainside of the Athamanika mountains, at 900 m elevation. It is 3 km southwest of Syrrako, 3 km west of Kalarites, 6 km north of Pramanta and 23 km southeast of Ioannina. Its population is 79 people (2021 census).
