Eldrine
Eldrine (, ; stylised as ƎLDRINE and also known as Eldraini) is a Georgian nu metal band that represented Georgia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "One More Day". The current line-up consists of 6 band members: Mariam Tomaradze who replaced Sophio Toroshelidze, Mikheil Chelidze, Irakli Bibilashvili, David Changoshvili, Tamar Shekiladze and Beso Tsikhelashvili. To date, they have released one studio album, entitled Fake Reality. It was released in January 2011, and a re-issued version is planned for release with the inclusion of "One More Day".
Bloodywood
Bloodywood is an Indian metal band from New Delhi, formed in 2016. Their style is primarily described as nu metal but also includes elements of folk metal and metalcore. They began as a parody band that uploaded metal covers of pop songs on YouTube and later wrote their own music. They have become India's first metal act to chart on Billboard.
Mnemic
Mnemic is a Danish heavy metal band formed in Aalborg in 1998. The band personally describes themselves as "Future Fusion Metal". The band dissolved in 2013, but in February 2024, the band announced their reunion, and will start touring in 2025.
Kontrust
Kontrust is an Austrian crossover band formed in 2001. The band is famous for wearing lederhosen and their lyrics are predominantly in English, though German and Polish language have also been incorporated into some songs.

Exilia
Exilia is an Italian nu metal band from Milan. It was formed in 1998 and as of 2022 is composed of vocalist Masha Mysmane, guitarist Wolve, bassist Simone Matteo Tiraboschi, and drummer Mark Campailla. They have played with a number of bands while on tour, including Otep, Rammstein, HIM, Ill Niño, Die Ärzte, P!NK, In Extremo, Paradise Lost, and Guano Apes.
Quarashi
Quarashi is an Icelandic rap rock band from Reykjavík. The group consists of rappers Hössi Ólafsson (later replaced by Egill Olafur Thorarensen), Ómar Örn Hauksson, Steinar Orri Fjeldsted, and Sölvi Blöndal (who also acted as producer, keyboardist, percussionist, drummer and songwriter). For live shows, Quarashi was joined by guitarist Smári "Tarfur" Jósepsson, bassist Gaukur Úlfarsson, and DJ Dice (later replaced by DJ Magic). The group came back together in 2016 and is planning on releasing a new album.

Velcra was a Finnish rock band, established 2000. Their music features female vocals (both clean and distorted) on a background of heavily distorted guitars and marching beats with heavy use of sample loops.

Carajo (; "Dick" or "Fuck!") was an Argentine rock band from Buenos Aires. It was formed in 2000 with Marcelo "Corvata" Corvalan on bass and vocals, Andres "Andy" Vilanova on drums and Hernan "Tery" Langer on guitar and backing vocals. The first two share the history of having been part of the band A.N.I.M.A.L. In 2020, the band's breakup was announced.

Rootwater was a Polish nu metal band, formed in Warsaw in 2002 by Sebastian Zusin, Tomasz "Yońca" Jońca and Paweł Jurkowski. Soon, Maciej Taff has joined the band as a vocalist. In their music there are many hardcore, thrash, folk and punk, and even ambient influences clearly audible. The name of the band comes from a Magic: The Gathering card captioned "Rootwater Commando". The band is famous for their psychedelic album covers. Many critics are comparing Rootwater's music to System of a Down's music, which is probably caused by a similar use of native "folkish" melodies by both groups. Rootwa
