Ayrums (, in Persian often as Âyromlū) are a Turkic tribe, considered to be a sub-ethnic group of Azerbaijanis after the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. They have been historically associated with the area nearby the city of Gyumri (in present-day Armenia).

Küresünni
Küresünni is a Turkic tribe that inhabits the territory of Salmas, Urmia, Khoy, Maku in Iran and Van Province in Turkey. It is believed that they descend from Chepni tribesmen who were settled in the region by the Ottoman Empire to serve against the Qizilbash. Küresünni, from the Shafi'i ''madh'hab'', continue to be fervent Sunnis. In the southwest of Khoy, there are Kurdicized groups of Küresünni Turks.

The Shamlu tribe (; ), also known as the Shamli tribe, was one of the seven original and the most powerful Azerbaijani speakingQizilbash tribes of Turcoman origin in Iran.

The Chowdur (meaning herder) or Choudor are one of the ten major groups of people who merged after 1920 to form the modern Turkmen Republic. They live primarily in and around the Khorezm Oasis.

Nafar
The Nafar (; ), are a Turkic ethnic group living in Fars, Khorasan and Tehran in Iran. Nafar people are Shia Muslim and primarily live in Fars. Although of Turkic origin, the Nafar of Fars have become a mixture of Turkic, Arab, and Lur elements. In 1861-62, the Nafar of Fars became one of the five tribes of the Khamseh tribal confederacy.
Agacheri
Agacheri was a Turkoman tribe that inhabited parts of Anatolia until the 14th century. They were allied with the Qara Qoyunlu during the 14–15th centuries but later shifted their allegiance to the Aq Qoyunlu upon the downfall of the former. A portion of the tribe remained in Anatolia and split into smaller subgroups, while another branch migrated to Iran, where they additionally incorporated Lurs. The tribe is known by its historical name in Iran. Although it has been contested by later publications due to lack of primary evidence, it is conventionally considered to be connected to the Tahtacı
