The website is considered the "French equivalent of IMDb."

Letterboxd ( ) is an online social cataloging service for film. It was founded by Matthew Buchanan and Karl von Randow in 2011. Members can rate and review films, keep track of which ones they have seen in the past and when, make lists of films, showcase their favorites, tag films using text keywords, and interact with other users. It has been described as "Goodreads for movies."

MyAnimeList, often abbreviated as MAL, is an anime and manga social networking and social cataloging application website run by volunteers. The site provides its users with a list-like system to organize and score anime and manga. It facilitates finding users who share similar tastes and provides a large database on anime and manga. As of January 2023, the site reported having over 23,000 anime and 62,000 manga entries in its database. In 2015, the site received 120 million visitors per month.

Animator.ru is a Russian website chronicling the films, people and studios of the animation industry in Russia, the former Soviet Union and (to a lesser extent) the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
