Kavbiuro
The Kavbiuro or Kavburo (), officially the Caucasus Bureau (), was the regional decision-making organ of the Russian Communist Party (Bolsheviks) in the Caucasus from 1920 to 1922. Established on April 8, 1920 under the leadership of Sergo Ordzhonikidze, it aimed to "coordinate the work of [the] Communists in Caucasia." The organization was based at Pyatigorsk until July 1920, at Armavir until October 1920, at Rostov-on-Don until March 1921, and finally at Tiflis.
