Oxalis
Oxalis ( , ) is a large genus of flowering plants in the wood-sorrel family, Oxalidaceae, comprising over 550 species. The genus occurs throughout most of the world, except for the polar areas; species diversity is particularly rich in tropical Brazil, Mexico, and South Africa.

Eucryphia
Eucryphia is a small genus of trees and large shrubs native to the south temperate regions of South America and coastal eastern Australia, predominantly Tasmania. Some common names include leatherwood in Australia, and Ulmo, Nirre or Guindo santo in Argentina and Chile. Sometimes placed in a family of their own, the Eucryphiaceae, they are placed by more recent classifications in the Cunoniaceae. There are seven species, two in South America and five in Australia, and several named hybrids.

It contains 90 species, which range from Mexico through Central and South America including the Caribbean, and to the Mascarene Islands (Mauritius and Réunion) in the western Indian Ocean. It is absent from mainland Africa and Australia, but some fossils have been attributed to Weinmannia in Australia.
