Jyeṣṭhadeva
Jyeṣṭhadeva () was an astronomer-mathematician of the Kerala school of astronomy and mathematics founded by Madhava of Sangamagrama (). He is best known as the author of the Yuktibhāṣā, a commentary in Malayalam of the treatise Tantrasamgraha by Nilakantha Somayaji. In the Yuktibhāṣā, Jyeṣṭhadeva gave complete proofs and rationales for the statements in Tantrasamgraha, which was unusual for traditional Indian mathematicians of the time. The Yuktibhāṣā is now believed to contain derivations of Taylor and infinite series expansions for certain trigonometric functions. However, it did not combine

Mullamangalath Parameshwaran Bhattathiripad (23 September 1908 – 10 August 1998), commonly known as M. P. Bhatathirippad or Premji, was a social reformer, cultural leader and actor from Kerala state, India. Premji joined Yogakshema Sabha and worked with V. T. Bhattathiripad, E. M. S. Namboodiripad and his brother M. R. Bhattathiripad in the fight against the casteism and conservatism that existed in the Nambudiri community. Premji was also a noted stage and film actor who won the National Film Award for Best Actor for the film Piravi.

Haridatta (c. 683 CE) was an astronomer-mathematician of Kerala, India, who is believed to be the promulgator of the Parahita system of astronomical computations. This system of computations is widely popular in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. According to legends, Haridatta promulgated the Parahita system on the occasion of the Mamankam held in the year 683 CE. Mamankam was a 12-yearly festival held in Thirunnavaya on the banks of the Bharathapuzha river.

Vatasseri Damodara Nambudiri was an astronomer-mathematician of the Kerala school of astronomy and mathematics who flourished during the fifteenth century CE. He was a son of Paramesvara (1360–1425) who developed the drigganita system of astronomical computations. The family home of Paramesvara was Vatasseri (sometimes called Vatasreni) in the village of Alathiyur, Tirur in Kerala.
