Maroua (Fula: Marwa, , 𞤥𞤢𞤪𞤱𞤢) is the capital of the Far North Region of Cameroon, stretching along the banks of the Ferngo and Kaliao Rivers, in the foothills of the Mandara Mountains. The city had 201,371 inhabitants at the 2005 census, consisting mainly of the Fulbe/Fulani ethnic group.

Fontem is a sub division in the Lebialem division of Cameroon. Consisting of three Fondoms, Lebang, the biggest, Essoh Etah and Fotabong III. Its headquarters are at Menji, they are located in the South West Region, and are west of Dschang and Bafoussam.

Nguti is a town and commune in Cameroon. The town covers an area of 1.851 km2. Nguti once had an airstrip, used for the transport of medicine and equipment, but is no longer in use. Nguti is nestled in Kupe Muanenguba Division, Southwest Region of Cameroon. Nguti is a Sub Divisional headquarter comprising 54 villages and four principal ethnic groups; the Mbo, Belong, Bassosi and Bakossi.

In 1884, it was annexed by the German Empire and incorporated in the colony of Kamerun. It lies in Southwest Region, to the south of Mount Cameroon and to the west of the Wouri estuary. It is situated at the East coast of the Limbé sub-division.

Mvolyé or Mvolye is a neighbourhood of Yaoundé, Cameroon. Around 1900, during Cameroon's colonial period, the site was part of the lands ruled by Karl Atangana. Atangana donated part of the area to the German Pallottine Fathers, a Roman Catholic missionary group. The Ewondo people had previously been unable to settle it due to a large rock there. The Fathers built a permanent mission, which opened Central and Eastern Cameroon to Christianisation. Atangana remained chief of the area.
