Pataniscas
A patanisca (isca in Porto) is a typical Portuguese dish. It is usually made by frying shredded bacalhau (patanisca de bacalhau) in a wheat flour, onion and egg purée, condimented with salt, parsley or pepper. Today, different recipes also include other types of fish (such as tuna), seafood or vegetarian alternatives.

Among the wide variety of presuntos in Portugal, the best known are presunto from Chaves, produced in the north of Portugal, and from the Alentejo, in the south, made from local Alentejano pigs.

Tripas
Tripas, in Mexican cuisine (known as chitterlings in English-speaking countries), is the stomach lining of farm animals that have been cleaned, boiled and grilled. Tripas are used as filling for tacos, and then dressed with condiments such as cilantro, chopped onions, and chile sauce. They are also served with pico de gallo and guacamole.

Milhojas ("thousand sheets") is a type of dessert of French origin that is found nowadays in Spain and Latin America. It is a local name for mille-feuille in Spanish-speaking countries.
Torricado

It is served mainly as a side dish to grilled salt cod, but also to sardines and pork. The dish is common both to the Tagus riverside plains and the hill rugged area of the vineyards, mainly in the area of Almeirim, Azambuja, Cartaxo and Santarém municipalities.
