Palaeospondylus ("early vertebra") is an extinct genus of fish described from fossils found in both the Achanarras slate quarry of Caithness, Scotland, and the Cravens Peak Beds of Queensland, Australia.

Pomatrum is an extinct vetulicolian, the senior synonym of Xidazoon; the latter taxon was described by Shu, et al. (1999) based on fossils found in the Qiongzhusi (Chiungchussu) Formation, Yu'anshan Member (Eoredlichia zone), Lower Cambrian, Haikou, (Kunming), about 50 km west of Chengjiang, China.

Didazoon haoae is an extinct species of vetulicolid vetulicolian described by Shu, et al. based on fossils found in the Qiongzhusi (Chiungchussu) Formation, Yu'anshan Member (Eoredlichia zone), Lower Cambrian, in the Dabanqiao area (Kunming), about 60 km northwest of Chengjiang, China.

Belonochasma (meaning "needle mouth") is a genus of reptile from the Mesozoic (possibly Jurassic) of Franconia, Bavaria, Germany. The type species, B. aenigmaticum, was described in 1939. It was once thought to be a pterosaur, but this was rejected by Oskar Kuhn in 1961, and upheld by Peter Wellnhofer in 1978.

Boreopelta is an extinct genus of rhytidosteid temnospondyl from the early Triassic period (Olenekian stage) of Yakutsk Region, central Siberia, Russia. It is known from the holotype PIN 4115/1, a skull fragment and from the referred specimen PIN 4113/5, a partial lower jaw, recovered from the Teryutekhskaya Formation near the Karya-khos-Teryutekh River. This genus was named by M. A. Shishkin and M. N. Vavilov in 1985, and the type species is Boreopelta vavilovi.
