Pylos
Pylos (, ; ), historically also known as Navarino, is a town and a former municipality in Messenia, Peloponnese, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform, it has been part of the municipality Pylos-Nestoras, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit. It was the capital of the former Pylia Province. It is the main harbour on the Bay of Navarino. Nearby villages include Gialova, Pyla, Elaiofyto, Schinolakka, and Palaionero. The town of Pylos has 2,568 inhabitants, the municipal unit of Pylos 4,559 (2021). The municipal unit has an area of 143.911 km2.

Sapientza
Sapientza or Sapienza () is a Greek island off the southern coast of the Peloponnese, near the city of Methóni. It is administratively part of the municipality of Pylos-Nestor, in Messenia. The 2011 census reported a population of two inhabitants. Sapientza is the second largest island of the Messenian Oinousses, a small group island which consists of three small islands (Schiza, Sapientza and Agia Marina). Its name is of Italian origin and means wisdom. The Calypso Deep, the deepest point of the Mediterranean Sea at , is located south-west of Sapientza.
Schiza
Schiza () is a Greek island off the southwestern coast of the Peloponnese. According to 2011 census, the island is uninhabited. Administratively it is part of the municipality of Pylos-Nestor in Messenia. It is the largest island of the Messenian Oinousses, an island complex that consists of two main islands (Schiza and Sapientza) and few rocky islets. Its area is 12.3 Km2. Schiza along with other Messenian Oinousses have been included in the Natura 2000 Network, with code GR2550003.

Iklaina
Iklaina () is a historic village in the municipal unit of Pylos, Messenia, Greece. The settlement, which is situated in low hills approximately northeast of Pylos, stands upon the remains of a Late Bronze Age (ca. 1600-1100 BC) city. An archaeological site has been surveyed and excavated there by the Athens Archaeological Society and the University of Missouri–St. Louis under the direction of Michael Cosmopoulos. Finds include an early Mycenaean palace, giant terrace walls, murals, an advanced drainage system, and a clay tablet dating from between 1450 and 1350 B.C. that features an early exam
Venetiko
Venetiko (), is a small uninhabited Greek island off the southern coast of the Peloponnese, south of the Cape Akritas. It belongs to the cluster of the Messenian Oinousses. It is administratively part of the municipality of Pylos-Nestor, in Messenia.
During ancient times, it was called Theganoussa () and it is mentioned by the Pomponius Mela, Pliny the Elder, Pausanias and Ptolemaeus.

Finikounda

Vlachopoulo is the central village of the municipal unit of Papaflessas in the center of Messenia, Greece.
The village is located 38 km from the capital of the prefecture Kalamata and 20 km from the nearest beach.
Vlachopoulo is a rural village, the main products are olives, raisins and grapes. The village is famous for the festival of which every year become the Holy Spirit. Many people from across Messinia ascend on the first morning to Panagitsa chapel atop Magklavas mountain where the view is spectacular and the evening continues with bouzouki at the village.

Chiliochoria () is a former municipality in Messenia, Peloponnese, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Pylos-Nestor, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 73.950 km2. Its population in 2021 was 1,993. The seat of the municipality was in Chandrinos.

Gialova (Greek: Γιάλοβα) is a village on Navarino Bay in the municipality of Pylos-Nestor in the regional unit of Messenia in the south-west Peloponnese, Greece, about six kilometres north of Pylos. The name derives from Greek γιαλός (shore) and Turkish ova (lowland), i.e. "lowland shore".
