Neman
The Neman (based on Russian spelling), Nioman (Belarusian), Nemunas (Lithuanian), Niemen (Polish), or Memel (German), is a river in Europe that rises in central Belarus and flows through Lithuania then forms the northern border of Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia's western exclave, which specifically follows its southern channel. It drains into the Curonian Lagoon, narrowly connected to the Baltic Sea. The long Neman is a major Eastern European river. It flows generally west to Grodno within of the Polish border, north to Kaunas, then westward again to the sea.

The river Neris () or Vilija (, ) rises in northern Belarus. It flows westward, passing through Vilnius (Lithuania's capital) and in the south-centre of that country it flows into the Nemunas (Neman) from the right bank, at Kaunas, as its main tributary. Its length is .

Nevėžis
The Nevėžis (; ) is the sixth longest river in Lithuania and one of the main tributaries of the Nemunas. The long Nevėžis flows entirely within Lithuania. Among the rivers that flow exclusively within Lithuania's borders, the Nevėžis is the second longest, after the Šventoji. Its source is in the Anykščiai District Municipality. The river first flows in a northwesterly direction, but at Panevėžys it turns southwest, and passing Kėdainiai, flows into the Neman just west of Kaunas near Raudondvaris.
Šešupė
The Šešupė (); ; ; ) is a 298 km long river that flows through Poland (27 km), Lithuania (158 km), and Russia (62 km). The river flows for 51 km along the border between the Kaliningrad Oblast, an exclave of Russia, and Lithuania. The Šešupė originates near the Polish village of Szeszupka, about 16 km from the Polish-Lithuanian border, and flows into the Nemunas, near the town of Neman, on the border between Lithuania and Kaliningrad Oblast.

Vilnia
The Vilnia (also Vilnelė; , Vilnia ; ) is a river primarily running through Eastern Lithuania. Its source is near the villages of and , 6 km south of Šumskas, nearby to the A3–M7 Medininkai–Kamenny Log border crossing complexes of the Belarus–Lithuania border for approximately 12 kilometers.
Merkys
The Merkys () is a river in southern Lithuania and northern Belarus. It flows for through Belarus, along the Belarusian–Lithuanian border, and through Lithuania before joining the Nemunas from the right bank near Merkinė.
Nemunėlis
Nemunėlis () is a river in northern Lithuania and southern Latvia. It originates 6 km south of Rokiškis. It is 191 kilometres long (75 km in Lithuania, 76 km on the Latvia–Lithuania border and 40 km in Latvia) before its confluence with the Mūša, near Bauska, forming the Lielupe.

Minija
The Minija is a river in western Lithuania and a right tributary to the Nemunas. It is long. It begins from small Lake Didovas, and hydrographically from lake Sydeklis, 14 km south of Telšiai. The rivulet that flows out of Sydeklis here is called Mava, in between Lake Ilgis and Lake Pluotinalis - Kliurkė and only after Lake Didovo it gets the Minija name.
Mūša
The Mūša (; ) is a river in Northern Lithuania and Southern Latvia (Zemgale region). At its confluence with the river Nemunėlis () in Latvia, near the city of Bauska, the river Lielupė is formed. The river is long, with in Lithuania and in Latvia.
Dzisna
The Dysna (; ) is a river that flows through Lithuania and Belarus into the Daugava River near the town of Dzisna.

The Jūra is a river in Lithuania and a right tributary of the Nemunas (Neman). It mostly follows a meandering and natural course, although two concrete dams of hydroelectric power plants prevent paddling, as do dense vegetation and large stones in its upper reaches. The Jūra is 177 km (110 mi) long.

Lėvuo
The Lėvuo is a river in Northern Lithuania, a right tributary of the river Mūša. Lėvuo is 148 kilometres long. In 1931 , connecting Lėvuo and Nevėžis rivers was built. The largest tributaries of Lėvuo are , Svalia, Kupa and Viešinta.
Širvinta
The Širvinta is a river in Lithuania. Stretching for 129 km, it is the longest tributary of the Šventoji. Its source is in the hinterlands of the Širvintos district. After it passes through the town of Širvintos, where a low head dam has been built, it continues through the Ukmergė district, and borders the Jonava district. The Širvinta flows into the Šventoji's left bank between Upninkai and Vepriai.

Bārta
Bārta (in Latvian), also named Bartuva (in Lithuanian), is a river in western Lithuania and Latvia. It originates in the Plungė district, 3 km to north of Lake Plateliai. The Bārta flows in a northwesterly direction, passing through the Skuodas district and the city of Skuodas, before entering Latvia. The Bārta flows into Liepāja lake, which is connected with the Baltic Sea. In its upper courses the valley formed by the Bārta is deep and narrow, while in its lower courses it is much wider.
Šušvė
Šušvė () is a river in central Lithuania, a right (the longest) tributary of the Nevėžis river. It begins in Kelmė district municipality, 6 km (4 mi) southeast from Tytuvėnai. The 134.6 km (83.6 mi) long river passes through Tytuvėnai and Sulinkiai Marshes and flows south through Radviliškis district municipality. Finally, Šušvė passes through Kėdainiai district municipality and flows into the Nevėžis near Graužiai village.
Marycha River
Marycha () is a small river that serves as the natural Polish–Lithuanian and Lithuanian–Belarusian border. It starts around Puńsk, flows through the town of Sejny and passes through Pomorze Lake. It is a tributary of Czarna Hańcza. The river is known for its population of beavers.
Ūla
The Ūla () is a river which starts in northern Belarus and flows into the Merkys river, in southern Lithuania. It flows in a generally northwesterly direction.

Šešuvis
The Šešuvis is a river in western Lithuania and the main tributary of the Jūra River. The Šešuvis begins northwest of Raseiniai and flows mostly in a southwesterly direction. Its main tributaries are the Ančia, Šaltuona, Agluona, Žalpė, and Įkojis rivers. There are almost no lakes in Šešuvis' basin; therefore, its water level is subject to great seasonal fluctuations.

The Žeimena River is a river in Aukštaitija, eastern Lithuania, and right tributary of Neris River. Žeimena begins in Labanoras Forest and at Lake Žeimenys. Žeimena flows to the south passing Kaltanėnai town, Švenčionėliai city, and Pabradė city. Its confluence with Neris is located near the border of Švenčionys and Vilnius districts. The main tributaries of Žeimena are Lakaja, Saria, , Kiauna, Luknelė and Jusinė.

Virvytė
The Virvytė River or Virvyčia River (Samogitian: Virvītė) is a river in Samogitia (Šilalė, Telšiai and Mažeikiai districts), northwestern Lithuania. It is a left tributary of the Venta River. Virvytė begins in Žemaičiai Highlands, 3 km north from Laukuva town. It flows north passing Lakes Paršežeris and Lūkstas, Varniai city, Lake Biržulis, Tryškiai town. Virvytė flows into Venta near Gyvoliai village. Virvytė's main tributaries are Juodupis, Būgenis, Trimsėdis, Upyna, Tryškys.
Mituva
The Mituva is a river in the western Lithuania (Raseiniai and Jurbarkas districts). It is a right-bank tributary of the Nemunas River. The Mituva originates 8 km northwest of Ariogala and just 1 km from the Dubysa river. It flows to the west and after confluence with the Vidauja river turns to the southeast. The Mituva joins with the Nemunas in Jurbarkas City.

Liepona (, ) is a small rivulet that flows for on the border of Lithuania and Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia. Left tributary to Širvinta, Liepona originates in Lithuania, near Kylininkai village. In 1980, a pond for irrigation was built about from the mouth.

Strėva River
The Strėva () is a river in Trakai and Kaunas district municipalities, Lithuania. In 1348, the Battle of Strėva between the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Teutonic Knights was fought on the frozen river. In 1962, the river was impounded to create the Elektrėnai Reservoir, the third-largest artificial lake in Lithuania. The Strėva flows through Elektrėnai, Žiežmariai, Semeliškės. A 2001 study found the Strėva to be one of the cleanest rivers in the Neman basin in Lithuania.

Its origins and upper reaches are located within the Žemaitija National Park. Its largest tributary is Sruoja. Larger settlements situated near Varduva include Žemaičių Kalvarija, Seda, Renavas, Ukrinai. Varduva has five small hydroelectric power plants: Kulšėnai, Ukrinai, Vadagiai, Juodeikiai, Renavas. The largest of these plants in Juodeikiai produced 2.99 GWh of electricity in 2010.

It flows southwest through Prienai district, and Kazlų Rūda municipality through the . It meanders sharply. In the lower reaches it flows west, flowing through the Vilkaviškis district.
