Vefsna
, , or is the largest river in Nordland county, Norway. It is long and drains a watershed of . Its headwaters lie in the mountains of Børgefjell National Park at the lake Simskardvatnet. The river runs through Hattfjelldal Municipality, Grane Municipality, and Vefsn Municipality. The southern parts of the river are sometimes called the river Susna. The river flows north, not far from the Swedish border, and some of the minor tributaries come from Sweden. At the town of Mosjøen, the river discharges into the Vefsnfjorden. The Laksforsen waterfall lies along its course.
Ranelva
Ranelva is a long river in Rana Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is one of the longest rivers in Nordland county. The catchment area of the river is . Before the power stations of Reinforsen (1925) and Langvatnet (1964) were built, the catchment area was .
Beiarelva
The Beiarelva is a river in Beiarn Municipality in Nordland, Norway. The river begins at the Svartisen glacier high in the mountains near the municipal borders of Beiarn Municipality, Meløy Municipality, and Rana Municipality inside the Saltfjellet-Svartisen National Park. The river then flows north and then west through the Beiar Valley to the head of Beiar Fjord. It has a length of about and a drainage area of , and is among the largest rivers in Nordland county.

Gubbeltåga (Lule Sámi: Gubbeltædno) is a river in Rana Municipality in Nordland county, Norway, which flows in a southern and southwestern direction. The river begins at the drainage divide on the Saltfjellet plateu in north. On its direction manly southwards, it meets and becomes a part of Randalselva, which has its beginning in the norwegian-swedish border-regions. At Elvmøthei in Dunderlandsdalen, Randalselva then meets Virvasselva and thus forms the beginning of Ranelva.
Åbjøra
Åbjøra is a river in Bindal Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It begins in the mountains between the Tosen fjord and the Namdalen valley. The long river passes through some lakes, including the lake Åbjørvatnet, then past the village of Åbygda, and ends in the Osan fjord, not far from the village of Terråk. It is a small river but good for fishing for salmon or sea trout.

Langvassåga
Langvassåga is a river that flows out of the lake Langvatnet in Rana Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It flows in a southeastern direction and almost immediately, it is joined by the river Røvassåga. It then continues a short distance southwards before joining the main river Ranelva, just south of the village of Røssvoll. The Langvassåga catchment area covers about . The river passes by the Mo i Rana Airport, Røssvoll.
Virvasselva
, , or is a river in Rana Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The river flows out of the eastern part of the lake Virvatnet. The stream Boneselva meets Virvasselva about east of the lake Virvatnet. This is a large, continuous, very rich and untouched wetland area with tarns, rivers, marshes, and very tight vegetation. Virvasselva has a good population of Arctic char.
