Josh Friend, known by his stage name Modestep, is an English dubstep and electronic rock DJ and record producer from London. Modestep was originally a band founded in 2008, but with the band's most recent past member, Pat Lundy, leaving the band in 2022, Modestep became a solo act by Josh Friend. Fanfarlo are a London-based indie/alternative band formed in 2006 by Swedish musician Simon Balthazar. They fuse elements of folk, indie rock and post-punk using eclectic instrumentation including trumpet, violin, mandolin, musical saw, clarinet and saxophone. Thenewno2 (styled as thenewno2) is an English alternative rock band from London. Originally composed of Dhani Harrison and Oliver Hecks, with Harrison playing lead guitar and singing lead vocals, and Hecks playing drums and synthesizer. As of 2014, the band consisted of Harrison, Jonathan Sadoff, Jeremy Faccone, Paul Hicks, Aaron Older and Frank Zummo. The name "Thenewno2" is a reference to the 1960s British television show The Prisoner. Cubanate were an industrial band from London, England, founded in 1992 by Marc Heal (vocals), Graham Rayner (keyboards), Phil Barry (guitars), and Steve Etheridge (drums). The group became well known for their combination of electro-industrial with distorted heavy metal guitars and techno percussion (later incorporating breakbeats). After the release of their debut album Antimatter in 1993, Rayner and Etheridge departed from the band. From that point on, Cubanate revolved around Heal and Barry, with various other musicians joining the lineup at times.
