Kimigayo
is the national anthem of Japan. The lyrics are from a '''' poem written by an unnamed author in the Heian period (794–1185), making the lyrics of "Kimigayo" the oldest lyrics out of any national anthem, and the current melody was chosen in 1880, replacing an unpopular melody composed by John William Fenton in 1869. While the title "Kimigayo" is usually translated as "His Majesty's Reign", no official translation of the title or lyrics have been established in law.
Wilhelmus
"Wilhelmus van Nassouwe", known simply as "Wilhelmus", is the national anthem of both the Netherlands and its sovereign state, the Kingdom of the Netherlands. It dates back to at least 1572, making it the oldest national anthem in use today, provided that the latter is defined as consisting of both a melody and lyrics. Kungssången
Kungssången (''The King's Song) is the Swedish royal anthem. It is also known by its first line, Ur svenska hjärtans djup en gång (''). Although sung on such occasions as the King's birthday, the annual opening of the Riksdag and the Nobel Prize ceremony, the song is not considered the Swedish national anthem. Du gamla, Du fria is the de facto national anthem of Sweden, but has never been officially recognised.

"''''''" (; "King's Song") is Norway's royal anthem. The lyrics come in several versions. The first version ("") was written by N. Vogtmann around 1800, but the version used today and quoted below was written by Gustav Jensen for the coronation of Haakon VII and Maud of Wales in 1906 and later used in his Landstads reviderte salmebok. It was inspired by the British royal and national anthem and set to the tune of "God Save the King"; Henrik Wergeland wrote a translation of "God Save the King" in 1841, dedicated to King Carl Johan of Norway and Sweden.
