The Revierderby () is the name given to any association football match between two clubs in the Ruhr region – also known in German as the '', a contraction of Bergbaurevier'' (mining area) – in North Rhine-Westphalia, but in most cases it refers to the derby between two most historically successful clubs from the region: Borussia Dortmund and FC Schalke 04.
