t.A.T.u. (, , ) are a Russian pop duo consisting of Lena Katina and Julia Volkova. The two started out as part of the children's musical group Neposedy before being managed by producer and director Ivan Shapovalov and signing with Russian record label Neformat. t.A.T.u.'s debut album 200 Po Vstrechnoy (2001) was a commercial success in Eastern Europe, and that resulted in the duo signing with Interscope Records to release its English-language counterpart, 200 km/h in the Wrong Lane (2002). Premyer-Ministr (, lit. Prime minister) is a Russian musical group. The idea behind the band was to form a boy band, though not especially for teenagers. Four men came together to form Premier Ministr in 1997. Their first real success came in 2000 with the remake of a Russian tune, "Oriental Song".

A-Studio, stylized as '''a'studio''', is a Russian-based Kazakhstani pop music group originally consisting of Baigali Serkebayev (keyboard), Vladimir Mikloshich (bass), Baglan Sadvakasov (solo guitar) and frontman Batyrkhan Shukenov (vocal and sax). The band was created in 1982 in Almaty, then called Alma-Ata, hence called "Alma-Ata Studio". Later, the name was changed to "A-Studio". Currently the group's members are Georgian frontwoman Keti Topuria, Baigali Serkebayev and Vladimir Mikloshich.

Fabrika
Fabrika (; Factory in English) is a Russian pop girl group, originally from Moscow. Initially a four-piece, Fabrika was created from four female participants from the first season of the Russian musical reality show Fabrika Zvyozd in 2002, and included Irina Toneva, Sati Kazanova, Alexandra Savelyeva and Maria Alalykina. The line-up has had several profound changes since then. Long time a fully Russian group, Fabrika later acquired two Ukrainian-born members, Oleksandra Popova (2014-2021) and Mariya Honcharuk (2019-2022). As of 2019, Toneva was the only original member of the line-up.

Neposedy (; ) is a children's music group formed in Moscow, Russia in 1991 by Elena Pindzhoyan and later supported by Yuri Nikolaev. Although starting out with a group of 15 children that rotated per performance, the group later did not have a fixed membership and hundreds of children have been estimated to have been part of Neposedy at some stage during its history.
