is a Japanese vocal group formed by composer Yuki Kajiura in 2007, mainly to perform theme songs for the anime The Garden of Sinners, but later expanded to include many other theme songs for other anime shows and films including the Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Black Butler, The Heroic Legend of Arslan and Fate/stay night franchises. They released five albums that have charted in the top 10 for Oricon. Kalafina disbanded in 2019, but regrouped on October 3, 2024.

Once a duo, the lineup consisted of the two before Alice's departure in mid-2014, with Karen joining later that year. Following Karen's departure in 2024, Elly and Anna joined Claris in early 2025.

Having been active as a cosplayer and independent musician, she made her major debut in 2018 as the singing voice of the character Elza Kanzaki in the anime series Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online. Her first single under her own name was released in August 2018.

Starting her singing career by covering J-pop music and anime songs, she made her debut as a solo artist on April 13, 2022, with the release of her debut EP Dignified. Two tracks from the EP, "dust" and "melt", were used as the opening and ending theme song in the anime series Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These. SennaRin's first single, "Saihate", was featured as the ending theme song in the anime Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War.
