Midhordland
Midhordland is a traditional district in the Vestlandet region of Norway. It consists of the central-west portion of the old Hordaland county (now part of Vestland county), mostly including the islands and coastal fjord areas surrounding (and including) the Bergen Peninsula. It includes the city of Bergen and the surrounding municipalities of Askøy, Austevoll, Bjørnafjorden, Samnanger, and Øygarden. The region is dominated by its largest city, Bergen, which is also the second largest city in the country.
Gullfjellet
Gullfjellet or Gullfjelltoppen is a tall mountain located in Vestland county, Norway. It is situated on the border between Bergen Municipality and Samnanger Municipality, and it is the highest mountain in all of Bergen Municipality. The name "Gul" is an old name for a strong wind, so the old name - Gulfjellet - means "the mountain with strong wind".

Samnangerfjorden
Samnangerfjorden () is a fjord in Vestland county, Norway. The long fjord is located in Bjørnafjorden Municipality and Samnanger Municipality. The head of the fjord is located in Samnanger, surrounded by the villages of Årland, Haga, and Tysse. The fjord flows to the southwest from there and eventually flows into the Fusafjorden (which later joins the large Bjørnafjorden). The fjord forms the southern boundary of the Bergen Peninsula.

Sveningen
Sveningen is a mountain in Vestland county, Norway. The tall summit of the mountain is a tripoint, marking the border of: Bergen Municipality, Samnanger Municipality, and Bjørnafjorden Municipality. It is the second highest mountain in Bergen Municipality (after Gullfjellet). The mountain Hausdalshorga lies about to the northwest.
Kvamskogen
Kvamskogen () is a forest and mountain plateau in the Hardanger region of Vestland county, Norway. It is located in Samnanger Municipality and Kvam Municipality. Traditionally, the term was used only for the parts of the plateau located in Kvam Municipality, but today it is used for the entire plateau. Kvamskogen contains several ski resorts, and more than 1700 cabins, the third highest concentration of cabins in the country.
