Szeged
Szeged ( , ; see also other alternative names) is the third largest city of Hungary, the largest city and regional centre of the Southern Great Plain and the county seat of Csongrád-Csanád county. The University of Szeged is one of the most distinguished universities in Hungary.
Győr
Győr ( , ; ; names in other languages) is the main city of northwest Hungary, the capital of Győr-Moson-Sopron County and Western Transdanubia region, and – halfway between Budapest and Vienna – situated on one of the important roads of Central Europe. It is the sixth largest city in Hungary, and one of its seven main regional centres. The city has county rights.
Székesfehérvár
Székesfehérvár (; ; ; ; Serbian: Стони Београд; ), known colloquially as Fehérvár (), is a city in central Hungary, and the country's ninth-largest city. It is the regional capital of Central Transdanubia, and the centre of Fejér County and Székesfehérvár District. The area is an important rail and road junction between Lake Balaton and Lake Velence.
Esztergom
Esztergom (; ; or ; , known by alternative names) is a city with county rights in northern Hungary, northwest of the capital Budapest. It lies in Komárom-Esztergom County, on the right bank of the river Danube, which forms the border with Slovakia there. Esztergom was the capital of Hungary from the 10th until the mid-13th century when King Béla IV of Hungary moved the royal seat to Buda.
Dunaújváros
Dunaújváros (; also known by alternative names) is an industrial city in Fejér County, Central Hungary. It is a city with county rights. Situated 70 kilometres (43 miles) south of Budapest on the Danube, the city is best known for its steelworks, which is the largest in the country. It was built in the 1950s on the site of the former village of Dunapentele and was originally named Sztálinváros, before acquiring its current name in 1961.

Until the end of World War II, the Danube Swabians lived in this village, it was the only village of Stifulder, in the Bács-Kiskun county. The Stifulder are a Roman Catholic subgroup of the Danube Swabians whose ancestors arrived in the 17th and 18th centuries from the Fulda District. The Csepel Island has two villages, Lórév (Lovra) and Szigetscép (Čip), and the town of Ráckeve which is inhabited by Serbs as well as Hungarians and Germans. In this Hungarian village, approximately one hundred Serbs are living with Hungarians and Germans. The majority of the old Serbian population moved from Szigetcsép to Serbia in 1924 to settle in the village of Bački Brestovac.

Most of the former German settlers were expelled to Germany and Austria in 1947–1948, in accordance with the Potsdam Agreement. Only a few Germans live in the village today, while most of the population are descendants of Hungarians from the Czechoslovak–Hungarian population exchange.
