Acaxee
The Acaxee or Acaxees were an Indigenous people of the Sierra Madre Occidental in eastern Sinaloa and northwestern Durango. They spoke a Taracahitic language in the Uto-Aztecan language family. Their culture was based on horticulture and the exploitation of wild animal and plant life. They no longer exist as an identifiable ethnic group.

Acatitán
Acatitán is a mexican town located in San Ignacio Municipality, Sinaloa.
It has just over 150 inhabitants.
It is a place little frequented by tourists. The majority of its population is dedicated to agriculture and livestock.
In the town there is the La Casa del Alto Museum dedicated to the jaguar and where archaeological pieces are exhibited.
