Sittard-Geleen
Sittard-Geleen (; ) is a municipality in the southeastern Netherlands. It was formed in 2001 from the former municipalities Sittard, Geleen and Born.

Geleen
Geleen (; ) is a city in the southern part of the province of Limburg in the Netherlands. With 31,670 inhabitants in 2020, it is part of the municipality of Sittard-Geleen. Geleen is situated along the river Geleenbeek, a right tributary to the river Meuse. The Latin name for Geleenbeek is Glana, meaning "clear river". The town centre is situated at about 60 m above sea level.

Munstergeleen (; ) is a village in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is located in the municipality of Sittard-Geleen, and it lies in the Western Mine Region (Westelijke Mijnstreek in Dutch).

It flows generally northwest, along Nuth, Schinnen, Spaubeek, turns north at Geleen, flows through the centre of Sittard, and further north through Nieuwstadt until it flows into a branch of the Meuse at Stevensweert.

Grevenbicht (; ) is a village in the south-eastern Netherlands. It is located in the municipality of Sittard-Geleen, Limburg, about 8 km north-west of Sittard, on the east bank of the Meuse river.
Broeksittard
Broeksittard (; ) is a former village in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is now a neighbourhood of the town Sittard, and part of the municipality of Sittard-Geleen. It has partly kept its village character.
nonnevot
Nonnevot (also: strik or poeffel) is a Limburgian pastry dating back to the 17th century. Hailing from the town of Sittard, the pastry has traditionally been associated with carnival (Limburgian: Vastelaovend) but is nowadays sold year-round in regional bakeries. Its name: nonnevot, or nun's buttocks, comes from the knotted shape of the pastry, resembling the knot on the back of a nun's tunic. The nonnevot is prepared by deep-frying a mixture of flour, yeast, milk, salt, butter, brown sugar, and lard.
Abshoven
Abshoven (; ) is a hamlet in the municipality of Sittard-Geleen in the province of Limburg in the Netherlands. It is located to the south of Munstergeleen and to the east of Geleen. The hamlet has approximately forty houses and is located on the Abshoven and Beekstraat roads. The hamlet is dominated by the remains of the Abshoven monastery.
