Colonia-Haus
Colonia-Haus is a 45-storey, skyscraper completed in 1973 in the Riehl district of Cologne, Germany. Upon completion in 1973, it was the tallest residential-only building in Germany until the 2020 completion of the Grand Tower in Frankfurt. Colonia-Haus has 45 floors with 373 units including 352 one-and multi-room apt-flats in size from on floors 3 to 41.

KölnTriangle (formerly also known as LVR-Turm) is a tall building in Deutz, Cologne, and a prominent landmark in Cologne. The building was designed by Dörte Gatermann of Cologne-based architecture firm Gatermann + Schossig and completed in 2006. Its south facade consists of a double-facade, allowing natural ventilation even at high floors. Next to the high-rise structure, part of KölnTriangle is also a much larger six-story office block with a total gross floor area of .

The Hansahochhaus is a skyscraper in the Neustadt-Nord quarter of north-central Cologne. When constructed in 1924-25 it was the city's first skyscraper, and one of the first skyscrapers in Germany. It was designed as an office building in the Expressionist style by the local architect, . It was constructed in just 135 working days, which was considered less than the time taken to erect comparable buildings in the United States where skyscrapers were already becoming mainstream by the 1920s, but construction of the Hansahochhaus was subject to interrupt
