Sochi
Sochi (, from – seaside) is the largest resort city in Russia. The city is situated on the Sochi River, along the Black Sea in the North Caucasus of Southern Russia, with a population of 466,078 residents, and up to 600,000 residents in the urban area. The city covers an area of , while the Greater Sochi Area covers over . Sochi stretches across , and is the longest city in Europe (territorially), the fifth-largest city in the Southern Federal District, the second-largest city in Krasnodar Krai, and the sixth-largest city on the Black Sea.

The Mzymta (; Abkhaz: Мӡы́мҭа; , Mezmytha) is a river in Northwestern Caucasus, flowing through Mostovsky District and the city of Sochi (Adlersky city district) of Krasnodar Krai, Russia. The Mzymta is the largest river in Russia emptying into the Black Sea. It is long with a watershed of . All the venues of the 2014 Winter Olympics were in the Mzymta Valley.

Dagomys (); is a microdistrict of Sochi, Russia (12 km from the city centre), known for its resorts, vacation spots and tea plantations. It was developed as a resort since before the Russian Revolution, when a botanical garden was founded by order of Tsar Nicholas II. A modern hotel complex was opened there in 1982.
Shakhe
The Shakhe (; Adyghe: Шэхэ, Šèhè), also known as the Golovinka () is a river in Khostinsky and Lazarevsky City Districts of the city of Sochi, Krasnodar Krai in Russia. It flows down the slopes of the Western Caucasus to the Black Sea. It is long, and the area of its basin . Its main tributary is the Bzych (left). The Shakhe is the second longest river of Sochi, next to the Mzymta.
