Sognefjord
The Sognefjord or Sognefjorden (, ), nicknamed the King of the Fjords (), is the longest and deepest fjord in Norway. Located in Vestland county in Western Norway, it stretches inland from the ocean to the small village of Skjolden in Luster Municipality.

Esefjorden is a fjord arm on the north side of the Sognefjord in Sogndal Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The fjord is about long and its mouth is just west of the mouth of the larger Fjærlandsfjorden. The village of Balestrand is located on the south side of the fjord, at the mouth. The village of Tjugum lies at the north side of the mouth of the fjord. At Dragsviki, just east of Tjugum, there are regular ferry connections to Hella (across the Fjærlandsfjorden) and on to Vangsnes in Vik Municipality. Lærdalsfjord or Lærdalsfjorden is a branch of the Sognefjord located on its southern side in Lærdal Municipality of Vestland county. Its length is about . The Lærdalsøyri river meets the fjord at the village of Lærdalsøyri. Lærdal Municipality surrounds the whole fjord and the Lærdalen valley which heads southeast/east from the fjord.
Sognesjøen
Sognesjøen is a strait in Vestland county, Norway. The strait is the outermost part of the large Sognefjorden. It runs along the border between Solund Municipality and Gulen Municipality. The long strait begins around the village of Rutledal on the mainland of Gulen at the mouth of the Sognefjorden. The strait then flows in a southwesterly direction into the North Sea, just north of the islands of Fedje Municipality. The Sognesjøen is surrounded by many large and small islands. The islands of Sula, Steinsundøyna, Ytre Sula lie along the northern side of the strait. The mainland and the islands
