Sokndal
Sokndal is the southernmost municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Dalane. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Hauge. Other villages in Sokndal include Li, Rekefjord, Sogndalsstranda, and Åna-Sira.

Dalane
Dalane is a traditional district in the southwestern part of Norway, consisting of the municipalities of Lund, Sokndal, Eigersund, and Bjerkreim. Dalane is one of the 15 districts in Western Norway. It sits to the southeast of the very flat Jæren region and south of the moorland of Ryfylke. The district has about 24,159 residents (as of 2014).
Jøssingfjorden
Jøssingfjorden is a fjord in Sokndal municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The long fjord is narrow and deep and is surrounded by mountains. It sits about southeast of the municipal centre of Hauge. There is some settlement on the southeastern side of the fjord: the villages of Li, Vinterstø, and Bu. There is a road that runs along the southeast coast of the fjord, with sharp hairpin turns leading down from the mountains to the shore of the fjord both heading north and south from the fjord.

Eiavatnet
Eiavatnet is a lake in Rogaland county, Norway. The lake is located on the border of the municipalities of Eigersund and Sokndal, about east of the town of Egersund. The lake is regulated at an elevation of so it can be used as a reservoir for the Lindland Power Station which is located a short distance north of Hauge in Sokndal. The lake Grøsfjellvatnet lies about north of this lake.

Åna-Sira
Åna-Sira is a village in southwestern Norway, sitting mostly in Sokndal municipality in Rogaland county, but a small portion lies in Flekkefjord municipality in Agder county. The village is located at the mouth of the river Sira where it flows south into Åna fjord (hence the name of the village). The fjord and river form the county border with Rogaland and Agder counties. The Åna-Sira Bridge crosses the river connecting the two parts of the village. The village is the southernmost village in Rogaland county.

Grøsfjellvatnet
Grøsfjellvatnet is a lake in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the municipalities of Eigersund, Lund, and Sokndal. The lake list just north of the lake Eiavatnet, about west of the village of Heskestad in Lund municipality.
Sogndalstrand
Sogndalsstranda or Sogndalstrand is a harbor village in Sokndal municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is located at the mouth of the river Sokno, about south of the municipal centre of Hauge and also about southeast of the village of Rekefjord. The Jøssingfjorden lies about southeast of the village.
