Extremoduro () was a Spanish hard rock band from Plasencia, Extremadura. The band was led by Roberto Iniesta, also known as "Robe", who is often referred as "El rey de Extremadura" (). The name Extremoduro is a pun on the band's home region in western Spain, Extremadura, and may be translated as "extremely tough", "rough edge", or "hard extreme".

Shinova
Shinova is a Spanish alternative rock group, formed in 2008 in Berriz, Vizcaya (Spain). The band's music were initially close to hard rock and alternative metal, they were often compared to Spanish compatriots Sôber, Savia and Skizoo. However, since 2014's Ana y el Artista Temerario released via Spanish label Maldito Records, the music has become more indie rock-oriented. Their fourth album Volver was released in 2016 via Warner Music and peaked at no. 49 in Spanish Albums Charts.

Ñu, also known as José Carlos Molina-Ñu, are a Spanish hard rock band formed in 1974 in Madrid. Their music style, often described as medieval rock, has medieval music, celtic rock and heavy metal influences. The band have experienced multiple line-up changes, with vocalist José Carlos Molina being the only constant presence in the band through the years. The flute predominance in their sound has been compared with Jethro Tull's style, but playing a way heavier sound they are in fact a predecessor of folk metal. Sangtraït was a Catalan hard rock and heavy metal band with occasional fantasy and medieval influences, combined sporadically with contemporary themes. Formed in 1982 in La Jonquera, they stood out from other bands of their generation.
