Refused
Refused (also known as the Refused) was a Swedish hardcore punk band originating from Umeå and formed in 1991. Refused's final lineup was composed of vocalist Dennis Lyxzén, guitarist Kristofer Steen, drummer David Sandström, and bassist Magnus Flagge. Guitarist Jon Brännström was a member from 1994, through reunions, until he was fired in 2013. Their lyrics are often of a non-conformist and politically far-left nature and were for a time associated with the straight edge subculture.

Lärm
Lärm (German for noise) were a Dutch hardcore punk band from Achterveld and Amersfoort, formed in 1982, originally playing under the name Total Chaoz. They are considered pioneers of the blast beat, as well as one of the first bands to be labeled as thrashcore. The band referred to their music as "extreme noise", due to their short, fast, and out of tune playing style. Maximumrocknroll has cited them as "very politically aware and idealistic", while describing their music as "raging, noisy outbursts" and additionally characterizing them as "Holland’s version of a young DRI."
Snapcase
Snapcase is an American hardcore punk band from Buffalo, New York. Their records were released on the Chicago record label Victory Records. During the course of the band's initial run of fourteen years, they released six studio albums before disbanding in 2005.

Manliftingbanner is a Dutch, communist hardcore punk band. They are best known for their merging of the straight edge lifestyle and radical politics, particularly communism, anti-racism, gay rights, and the DIY ethic. The band has been referred to as the first communist-straight edge band. It was originally named Profound. Due to the pretentious nature of their name, it was changed to Manliftingbanner after a Communist propaganda poster.
