Geirangerfjord
or is a fjord in the Sunnmøre region of Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located entirely in Stranda Municipality. It is a branch off the Sunnylvsfjorden, which itself is a branch off the Storfjorden (). The small village of Geiranger is located at the end of the fjord where the Geirangelva river empties into it.

Geiranger
Geiranger is a small tourist village in Sunnmøre region of Møre og Romsdal county in the western part of Norway. It is located in Stranda Municipality and at the end of the Geirangerfjorden, which is a branch of the large Storfjorden. The nearest city is Ålesund. Geiranger is home to spectacular scenery, and has been named the best travel destination in Scandinavia by Lonely Planet. Since 2005, the Geirangerfjord area has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Dalsnibba
Dalsnibba is a mountain in Stranda Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located at the end of the Geiranger valley, about south of the village of Geiranger and the Geirangerfjorden. The lake Djupvatnet lies directly to the southeast of the mountain. The mountain is located very near the county border with both Innlandet and Vestland counties, in the southeastern part of Møre og Romsdal county.

Djupvatnet is a lake in extreme southeastern Stranda Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The lake lies at above sea level. The lake is part of the headwaters of the Otta river system which flows southeast into the lake Breiddalsvatnet and on into Innlandet county.

Hornindalsrokken
Hornindalsrokken is a tall mountain in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located on the border of two municipalities: Stranda Municipality and Volda Municipality. The mountain is sometimes also called Honndalsrokken or sometimes just Rokken or Rokkjen.
Sunnylvsfjorden
Sunnylvsfjorden is a fjord in Stranda Municipality and Fjord Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The long Sunnylvsfjorden is one of the innermost branches of the large Storfjorden. The fjord ranges from wide and reaches below sea level at its deepest point, just west of Skrenakken near the mouth of the fjord. The famous Geirangerfjorden branches off to the west from the Sunnylvsfjorden.

Liabygda
Liabygda is a village in Stranda Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village is located on the northern shore of the Norddalsfjorden, just north of the mouth of the Sunnylvsfjorden. Liabygda and its immediate vicinity are separated from the rest of Stranda Municipality by the fjord, and the area is surrounded on three sides by Fjord Municipality. There is a ferry from Liabygda at Gravaneset to the village of Stranda on the south side of the Storfjorden. Liabygda Church is located in this village, serving the part of Stranda on the eastern side of the fjord.

Knivsflå
Knivsflå is one of a handful of historic mountain farms on the steep mountainsides along the Geirangerfjorden. It is located in Stranda Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. Actually it was two farms sharing the location, and they have been inhabited since at least the 1600s. There is also a mountain pasture situated some above the fjord. It is reachable by a hardly visible footpath, starting from Knivsflå. The Knivsflå farm was abandoned in 1898 due to the danger of falling rocks. Skageflå
Skageflå is one of a handful of historic mountain farms on the steep mountainsides along the Geirangerfjorden. It is located in Stranda Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. Skageflå lies approximately above the fjord. The farm is a 2 to 4 hour walk from the nearby village of Geiranger, and can also be reached with help of a local sightseeing boat (M/S Geirangerfjord).
