Japanese anime television series

is a Japanese military science fiction media franchise. Created by Yoshiyuki Tomino for Sunrise (now a division of Bandai Namco Filmworks), the franchise features giant robots, or mecha, known as "Mobile Suits", typically including a prominent one carrying the name "Gundam". The franchise began with the premiere of the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam on April 7, 1979, which defined the "real robot" mecha anime genre by depicting giant robots (including the original titular mecha) within a militaristic setting.

It was serialized in Kodansha's manga magazine Morning between January 1999 to January 2004, with its chapters collected into four volumes. It was adapted into a 26-episode anime television series by Sunrise, which was broadcast on NHK from October 2003 through April 2004. The story revolves around the crew of a space debris collection craft in the year 2075.

is a 2004 Japanese animated steampunk action film directed and co-written by Katsuhiro Otomo, produced by Sunrise, it is his second major anime as a director, following Akira (1988). The film was released in Japan by Toho on July 17, 2004.

is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yellow Tanabe. It was serialized in Shogakukan's manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Sunday from October 2003 to April 2011, with its chapters collected in 35 volumes. The series is about Yoshimori Sumimura and Tokine Yukimura, heirs to rival families of kekkai (barrier magic) users, who must defend their school from the spirits drawn to the sacred land upon which it is built.

It is a sequel spin-off to the Inuyasha anime television series, which itself is based on Rumiko Takahashi's manga series Inuyasha. The series follows the adventures of Towa Higurashi and Setsuna, Sesshomaru and Rin's fraternal twin daughters, and Moroha, Inuyasha and Kagome Higurashi's daughter.
