Lidingöloppet
Lidingöloppet is an annual cross country running competition held in Lidingö, Sweden. The 30 km run has about 15,000 participants per year and the shorter races several thousands, making it the largest cross-country event in the world. It is held the last weekend of September each year.
Vansbrosimningen
Vansbrosimningen or Vansbrosimmet is an annual open water swimming competition held in July in Vansbro, Dalarna, Sweden since 1950. The distance is 3,000 m, first 2,000 m downstream in Vanån then 1,000 m upstream in Västerdal River. It is part of En svensk klassiker, the "Swedish Classic" which also includes crosscountry skiing (Vasaloppet, 90 kilometers), biking (Vätternrundan, 300 kilometers) and running (Lidingöloppet, 30 kilometers).

Vätternrundan is a ( before 2020) cyclosportive event held annually over two weekends in June in Sweden. In 2011, 27,973 cyclists passed the finish line; 18,272 on the course, 3,686 on the course, and 6,015 on the course). The 315 km course circles Lake Vättern, starting and finishing in the town of Motala. Approximately 20 percent of the participants are non-Swedish and in 2011, 37 nations were represented on the course.
