Venkatesh Prabhu Kasthuri Raja (born 28 July 1983), known professionally as Dhanush, is an Indian actor, filmmaker, lyricist and playback singer who works primarily in Tamil cinema. He has mainly acted in Tamil films, as well as few Hindi and Telugu films. Having starred in 50 films over his career, his accolades include four National Film Awards (two as actor and two as producer), fourteen SIIMA Awards, eight Filmfare Awards South and a Filmfare Award. One of the highest paid actors in Tamil cinema, he has been included in the Forbes India Celebrity 100 list six times.

Silambarasan Tesingu Rajendar (born 3 February 1983), popularly known as Simbu or by his initials as STR, is an Indian actor, producer,director and playback singer who primarily works in Tamil cinema. He is a recipient of two Edison Awards and three SIIMA Awards.

Sivakarthikeyan (born 17 February 1985), also known by his initials as SK, is an Indian actor, playback singer, lyricist, and film producer primarily active in Tamil cinema. He served as a television presenter before his entry into films. He is a recipient of one Filmfare Award, two Tamil Nadu State Film Awards and eight SIIMA Awards.

Pulavar Pulamaipithan (6 October 1935 – 8 September 2021) was an Indian scholar, poet and lyricist who got recognition through the song "Naan yaar nee yaar" which was featured in the Tamil film Kudiyirundha Koyil in 1968.
