Tanagra

Tanagra () is a town and a municipality north of Athens in Boeotia, Greece. The seat of the municipality is the town Schimatari. It is not far from Thebes, and it was noted in antiquity for the figurines named after it. The Tanagra figurines were a mass-produced, mold-cast and fired type of Greek terracotta figurine produced from the later fourth century BC, primarily in Tanagra.

Schimatari () is a town and a former municipality in Boeotia, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Tanagra, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 38.285 km2. It is situated in the wide valley of the river Asopos, at 6 km from the South Euboean Gulf coast. The A1 motorway (Athens - Lamia - Thessaloniki) passes north of Schimatari. Schimatari is located 13 km south of Chalcis, 23 km east of Thebes and 43 km north-northwest of Athens. The Tanagra Airport lies to the south.

Oinofyta (Greek: Οινόφυτα) is a village and former municipality in eastern Boeotia, Greece. Following the local government reform of 2011, it is now part of the municipality of Tanagra, of which it is a municipal unit. It was formerly named Staniates (Στανιάτες) until 1927. Within the territory of the municipal unit lies the ancient town of Oenophyta, where the Battle of Oenophyta was fought in 457 BCE.

Dilesi () is a village and a municipal unit in Boeotia, Greece. It is part of the municipality of Tanagra, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit consists of the communities Dilesi and Plaka Dilesi, both on the coast of the South Euboean Gulf. The population is 4,425 (2021). It is served by the Dilesi railway station, on the line from Chalcis to Athens. The municipal unit Dilesi was created in 2014 from parts of the municipal units Oinofyta (the village Dilesi) and Schimatari (the village Plaka Dilesi).

Dervenochoria () is a former municipality in Boeotia, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Tanagra, of which it is a municipal unit. In 2021 its population was 1,826. The municipal unit has an area of 222.938 km2. It covers the southernmost portion of Boeotia. The main village is Pyli.

Skourta () is a village in Boeotia, Greece. It is part of the municipality Tanagra. It is situated northwest of the Parnitha mountain, in a rather sparsely populated area, dominated by agriculture and forestry. Skourta lies 4 km north of Stefani, 5 km east of Pyli and 30 km northwest of Athens.
