Heterixalus
Heterixalus is a genus of frogs within the family Hyperoliidae, endemic to Madagascar. It is the sister taxon to the genus Tachycnemis. These frogs are commonly referred to as Madagascar reed frogs. Heterixalus species are colorful, small to medium-sized frogs ranging from 18-40 mm in length. They have webbing on both the front and back feet, and the digits and webbing are typically yellow and orange. The tips of the digits are circularly enlarged, and the lateral metatarsalia are connected. Distinct among Malagasy frogs, the pupil is shaped as a "vertical rhomboid," with the anterior side poi
Aceria
Aceria is a genus of mites belonging to the family Eriophyidae, the gall mites. These tiny animals are parasites of plants. Several species can cause blistering and galls, including erineum galls. A few are economically significant pests, while others are useful as agents of biological pest control of invasive plants such as rush skeletonweed (Chondrilla juncea), creeping thistle (Cirsium arvense), and field bindweed (Convolvulus arvensis). There are over 900 species in the genus.

Amylocystis
Amylocystis is a genus of two species of fungi in the family Fomitopsidaceae. The genus was described in 1944 by mycologists Appollinaris Semenovich Bondartsev and Rolf Singer to contain the type, and at that time, sole species, A. lapponicus. A. unicolor was transferred to the genus (from Tyromyces) in 2003. The generic name Amylocystis is derived from the Ancient Greek words ("starch") and ("bladder").
Smithiomyces
Smithiomyces is a genus of fungi in the family Agaricaceae. It was circumscribed by Rolf Singer in 1944. The type species, S. mexicanus, was formerly placed in Amanita, as well as the now obsolete genera Leucomyces and Venenarius. The genus was named to honor American mycologist Alexander H. Smith.
Pseudexomilus
Pseudexomilus is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Horaiclavidae. Members are found on the coasts of Australia and in the Indian Ocean.
Strophidon
Strophidon is a genus of eels in the family Muraenidae. The genus has a wide distribution throughout the Pacific and Indian Oceans where they mostly inhabit the benthic zone.
Ectocotyla
Ectocotyla is a genus of flatworms belonging to the family Monocelididae. They live as ectosymbionts on the surface of many species of decapods.

Placomaronea
Placomaronea is a genus of lichen-forming fungi in the family Candelariaceae. These lichens are primarily found in the high mountains of South America, particularly in the Andes, where they grow on rocks and soil in harsh, exposed conditions. Most species form bright yellow, circular patches that can range from flat crusts to more complex, three-dimensional structures. The genus is distinguished from similar yellow lichens by its distinctive cellular structure, which includes specialised pigment-containing caps on the surface cells. Recent studies have added two new species from Peru, bringing
