Arranmore
Árainn Mhór (English name: Arranmore) is an island off the west coast of County Donegal, Ireland. It is the county's largest inhabited island, with a population of 478 in 2022, but has had a gradually falling native population since the 1990s. Its main settlement is Leabgarrow. The island is part of the Gaeltacht, with most of the inhabitants speaking Ulster Irish.

An Clochán Liath, known in English as Dungloe (sometimes misspelled as Dunglow; ), is a town on the west coast of County Donegal in Ulster, the northern province in Ireland. It is the main town in The Rosses and the largest in the Donegal Gaeltacht. Dungloe developed as a town in the middle of the 18th century, and now serves as the administrative and retail centre for the west of County Donegal, and in particular The Rosses, with the only mainland secondary school for the area.
Ailt an Chorráin
' or (English name: Burtonport') is a fishing village about northwest of Dungloe in The Rosses district of County Donegal, Ireland. The main employers in the village were the Burtonport Fishermen's Co-op and the Bord Iascaigh Mhara (BIM; Irish Sea Fisheries Board) ice plant; but these have both since closed and their former premises were demolished in 2021 as part of a seafront environment upgrade scheme.

The island's post office, secondary school and ferry port are located in Leabgarrow. Leabgarrow also hosts a cafe and numerous pubs and bars.

Cionn Caslach
Cionn Caslach (anglicised as Kincasslagh) is a small Gaeltacht seaside village in The Rosses district in the west of County Donegal in Ulster, the northern province in Ireland. Despite only having a population of just over 40 people, the village has attracted much international attention due to the success of local singer Daniel O'Donnell.
Croithlí
Croithlí or Croichshlí (anglicised as Crolly) is a village in the Gaeltacht parishes and traditional districts of Gweedore (Gaoth Dobhair) and The Rosses (Na Rossan) in the west of County Donegal in Ulster, the northern province in Ireland. The two 'districts' are separated by the Crolly River (also known as the Gweedore River). It has one convenience shop/restaurant and petrol station and one public house, Páidí Óg's. Crolly is located in two baronies: the Gweedore part of the village is in the Barony of Kilmacrenan, while The Rosses part of the village is in the barony of Boylagh, the Crolly

Leitir Mhic an Bhaird or '''Leitir Mhic a' Bhaird (anglicised as Lettermacaward') is a Gaeltacht village in the Rosses region of County Donegal, Ireland. The village, known colloquially as Leitir (pronounced letcher''), is between the larger towns of Glenties and Dungloe. It is also a civil parish in the historic barony of Boylagh. The village has two shops, a family run service station and three 3 pubs.

An Dúbh Choraidh or An Dúcharaidh (anglicised as Doochary), meaning "the black weir", is a small village in the Rosses district in the west of County Donegal in Ulster, the northern province in Ireland. Doochary is within the Gaeltacht, meaning the Irish language is the main language used there. Doochary was awarded the Tidy Towns award in 1997.
