Theban tombs

The Theban Tomb TT358 is located in Deir el-Bahari, part of the Theban Necropolis, on the west bank of the Nile, opposite to Luxor. The tomb belongs to the ''king's wife'' Ahmose-Meritamun, the sister and the wife of Pharaoh Amenhotep I. The tomb was later used for the additional burial of the King's daughter Nany, who was a daughter of Pharaoh Pinedjem I.

The Theban Tomb TT60 is located in Sheikh Abd el-Qurna, part of the Theban Necropolis, on the west bank of the Nile, opposite to Luxor. It is the burial place of a woman called Senet. She was related to the ancient Egyptian Vizier Intefiqer (mother or wife). It is one of the earliest burials in the area.

The Theban Tomb TT38 is located in Sheikh Abd el-Qurna, part of the Theban Necropolis, on the west bank of the Nile, opposite to Luxor. It is the burial place of the ancient Egyptian official Djeserkaraseneb (who was Scribe and Counter of the Grain in the Granary of Amun during the reign of Thutmose IV) and his family.

The Theban Tomb TT19 is located in Dra' Abu el-Naga', part of the Theban Necropolis, on the west bank of the Nile, opposite to Luxor. It is the burial place of the ancient Egyptian Amenmose, who was the high priest of Amenhotep of the Forecourt (Amenhotep I) during the early Nineteenth Dynasty and lived up to the reign of Seti I.

thumb|Detail from a Fishing Scene, Tomb of Qenamun MET DT10881 The Theban Tomb TT93 is located in Sheikh Abd el-Qurna, part of the Theban Necropolis, on the west bank of the Nile, opposite to Luxor. The tomb belongs to an 18th Dynasty ancient Egyptian named Qenamun, who was the overseer of cattle of Amun and chief steward of Amenhotep II. More than eighty epithets of Qenamun were found in the tomb. Qenamun's mother, Amenemipet, was a wet nurse of Amenhotep II, which effectively made Qenamun a foster brother to the young prince who would become king.

The Theban Tomb TT73 is located in Sheikh Abd el-Qurna. It forms part of the Theban Necropolis, situated on the west bank of the Nile opposite Luxor. The tomb is the burial place of the ancient Egyptian official Amenhotep. During his lifetime Amenhotep was given the titles: "Overseer of cattle" of Amun, "Overseer of Works" and "Chief steward and warrior of the king."

The Theban Tomb TT178 is located in El-Khokha, part of the Theban Necropolis, on the west bank of the Nile, opposite to Luxor.

The Theban Tomb of Meru TT240 is located in El-Assasif, Theban Necropolis. It overlooks the mortuary temple of the 11th Dynasty Pharaoh Mentuhotep II (around 2000 BC).

The Theban Tomb TT65 is located in Sheikh Abd el-Qurna. It forms part of the Theban Necropolis, situated on the west bank of the Nile opposite to Luxor.

The ancient Egyptian Theban Tomb no. 80 (TT80) belongs to the Overseer of the treasuries Djehutynefer, who was in office under king Amenhotep II. The tomb chapel is located in Sheikh Abd el-Qurna and is part of the Theban Necropolis, on the west bank of the Nile, opposite to Luxor. Djehutynefer had a second tomb in Thebes TT104. Tomb TT80 is decorated with paintings and has a T-shaped ground plan. The paintings are partly well preserved.
