thiane
Thiane is a heterocyclic compound and an organosulfur compound with the formula (CH2)5S. It is a saturated six-membered ring with five carbon atoms and one sulfur atom. The compound is a colorless liquid. It can be prepared by the reaction of 1,5-dibromopentane with sodium sulfide:
hexasulfur
Hexasulfur is an inorganic chemical with the chemical formula . This allotrope of sulfur was first prepared by M. R. Engel in 1891 by treating thiosulfate with HCl. Hexasulfur is orange-red and forms a rhombohedral crystal. It is also called cyclo-, ρ-sulfur, ε-sulfur, Engel's sulfur, and Aten's sulfur.
luseogliflozin
Luseogliflozin (trade name Lusefi) is a pharmaceutical drug (an SGLT2 inhibitor) used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. It was approved for use in Japan in 2014.
In a meta-analysis involving data from 10 randomized controlled trials (1304 patients), Dutta et. al. demonstrated the good glycaemic efficacy (mean glycated hemoglobin reduction of -0.76% and mean fasting glucose reduction of -26.69mg/dl) and safety of luseogliflozin 2.5mg/day as compared to placebo. Additional benefits include significant reduction in systolic blood pressure (-4.19 mm Hg), serum triglycerides (-12.60mg/
