1989 side-scrolling shoot 'em up arcade game

was a Japanese video game developer based in Tokyo. It was best known for its catalogue of scrolling shooters and other arcade video games. The company was founded in 1979 but its gaming division was established in 1984 by former Orca and Crux employees, who wanted to make games, after both companies declared bankruptcy. Their first shoot 'em up game, Tiger-Heli (1985) on arcades, was a success and helped establish Toaplan as a leading producer of shooting games throughout the 1980s and 1990s that would continue to characterize their output.

is a 1985 vertically scrolling shooter video game developed by Toaplan and released for arcades in Japan by Taito and in North America by Romstar. A version for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) was released in 1986. It is the first entry in the Tiger series and the first shoot 'em up from Toaplan. The player controls the Tiger attack helicopter fighting against enemies. The helicopter is equipped with missiles that can hit targets and bombs that destroy any enemy and their bullets within range.

MUSHA is a vertically scrolling shooter video game developed by Compile for the Sega Genesis. An entry in Compile's shooter series, Aleste, MUSHA places the player in the role of a flying mecha pilot who must destroy a large super intelligent computer threatening planet Earth.
