Tribes of Arabia

Riyah () is an Arab tribe and one of the most powerful sub-tribes of Banu Hilal, a confederation of Arabian tribes that emigrated from Najd to the Maghreb in the 11th century. At the time of the Arab migration to the Maghreb in the 11th century, their chief was Munis bin Yahya of the family of Mirdas.

The Salīḥids (), also known simply as Salīḥ or by their royal house, the Zokomids (Arabic: Ḍajaʿima) were the dominant Arab foederati of the Byzantine Empire in the 5th century. They succeeded the Tanukhids, who were dominant in the 4th century, and were in turn defeated and replaced by the Ghassanids in the early 6th century.

The Daramikah (, singular Darmaki) are an Arabian tribe, a branch of the widespread Dhawahir of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman. They have given their name to a small watchtower located in the Qattara Oasis in Al Ain, one of a number of areas in the region traditionally held by the semi-nomadic Dhawahir. The tower protected the falaj irrigation system that gave life to the oasis.
