Triglav
Triglav (; ; ), with an elevation of , is the highest mountain in Slovenia and the highest peak of the Julian Alps. The mountain is the pre-eminent symbol of the Slovene nation, appearing on the coat of arms and flag of Slovenia. It is the centrepiece of Triglav National Park, Slovenia's only national park. Triglav was also the highest peak in Yugoslavia before Slovenia's independence in 1991.

Kanjavec
Kanjavec is a mountain in the center of Triglav National Park. It lies between the Dolič Pass at 2,164 m, the Hribarice Pass at 2,306 m and the Prehodavci Pass at 2071 m. Kanjavec is also a popular ski touring destination. From the summit, there is a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. It is relatively easy to ascend, with a few exposed areas.

Prestreljenik
Prestreljenik () is a mountain in the western range of the Julian Alps. The summit of the mountain lies on the Italian–Slovenian border, which runs along the Kanin group ridge in the area. The mountain's southern and northern slopes lie in the Slovenian municipality of Tolmin and the Italian commune of Udine, respectively.

Mežakla () is a long undulating plateau about long in the foothills of the Julian Alps above the town of Jesenice in northwestern Slovenia. It ranges from approximately to high. It is mostly covered with spruce and beech trees. There are many pastures and clear streams on the plateau. Mežakla is part of Triglav National Park but tourism is underdeveloped.

Set on the Italy–Slovenia border, the mountain is located two kilometers immediately south of Lake Predil and five kilometers north of the town of Bovec. It is part of Triglav National Park.
