Hardangerfjord
The Hardangerfjord () is the fifth longest fjord in the world and the second longest fjord in Norway. It is located in the Hardanger region of Vestland county in western Norway. The fjord stretches from the Atlantic Ocean into the mountainous interior of Norway along the Hardangervidda plateau. The innermost point of the fjord reaches the town of Odda.
Sunnhordland
Sunnhordland is a traditional district in the western region of Norway. The district consists of the southern coastal regions of the old Hordaland county (now part of Vestland county). It includes the areas that surround the mouth of the Hardangerfjorden and the surrounding islands. The municipalities of Sveio, Etne, Stord, Bømlo, Fitjar, Kvinnherad, and Tysnes (and sometimes Austevoll) make up the district of Sunnhordaland. The regional centre of this district is the town of Leirvik in Stord Municipality.

Tysnesøya () is an island in Tysnes Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island makes up the vast majority of Tysnes Municipality. The highest point on the island is the tall mountain Tysnessåto.
Reksteren
Reksteren is an island in Tysnes Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island covers an area of . Its highest point is the tall Bjørnkletten. The island lies northwest of the larger island of Tysnesøya. The small Bårdsundet strait separates the two islands and there is a road bridge connecting the two islands. The Langenuen strait runs along the west side of the island and the Bjørnafjorden lies along the north side of the island. The village of Gjøvåg lies along the western coast of the island and Reksteren Church is located along the eastern shore.
Bjørnafjorden
Bjørnafjorden is a fjord in Vestland county, Norway. It runs through Austevoll Municipality, Bjørnafjorden Municipality, and Tysnes Municipality. The large island of Tysnesøya (and many small, surrounding islands such as Reksteren) lie along the south side of the Bjørnafjorden and the Bergen Peninsula and the mainland lie along the north and east sides of the fjord. The Fusafjorden (and the Samnangerfjorden which branches off it) split off from the main fjord on the north side by the village of Osøyro. The fjord is about wide and its maximum depth is below sea level.

Uggdal or Uggdalseidet is the administrative centre of Tysnes Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The village is located on the west side of the island of Tysnesøya. The village is located in the northern part of the Uggdalsdalen valley near the western coast. The village of Våge lies about north of Uggdal.

Fusafjorden
Fusafjorden () is a fjord in Vestland county, Norway. It lies in between Bjørnafjorden Municipality and Tysnes Municipality. The long fjord branches off northwards from the Bjørnafjorden at the village of Osøyro. The Fusafjorden is a wide fjord that branches into three arms at Bogøya. The three arms are Samnangerfjorden, Ådlandsfjorden, and Eikelandsfjorden.
Onarheim
Onarheim is a village in Tysnes Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The village is located on the southeastern shores of the island of Tysnesøya, along the Hardangerfjorden. The village has been home to a church since the 12th century. The present Onarheim Church was built in 1893, and it serves the southeastern part of the municipality. There is also a small school in Onarheim.

Langenuen
Langenuen is a strait in Vestland county, Norway. The strait runs between the islands of Stord and Huftarøy on the west, and Tysnesøya and Reksteren on the east. The strait ranges from wide, and it forms the boundaries between Austevoll Municipality, Tysnes Municipality, Fitjar Municipality, and Stord Municipality.
