Ugljan () is an island in northern Dalmatia, Croatia, and the first in the Zadar Archipelago. It is located northwest of the island of Pašman and southeast of the islands of Rivanj and Sestrunj. Separated from the mainland by the Zadar Channel, it is connected with the island of Pašman by the Ždrelac Bridge spanning over the Ždrelac Strait. Preko
Preko (Italian: Oltre; lit. "Across") is a village and a municipality in Zadar County, Croatia. It is situated, as the name suggests, opposite of Zadar, on the island of Ugljan, in northern Dalmatia. Its old centre consists of typical Dalmatian architecture with numerous patrician family summer houses. According to the 2011 census, there are 3,805 inhabitants, 88% which are Croats.

Kukljica
Kukljica is a village on the island of Ugljan in Croatia, and the only settlement in the eponymous municipality. According to the 2011 census, there are 714 inhabitants, 98% which are Croats. The area of Kukljica also includes the islets of Mišnjak, Karantunić, Bisage and Golac with a total area of 6.9 square kilometers.

Lukoran is a village in Croatia, located on the Adriatic island of Ugljan overlooking at the Zadar peninsula. It is connected with other island villages with the State route D110. Lukoran was mentioned in the year 1068. The name Lukoran originates from 6th or 7th century Rome (Laucaranus) since the name uses Latin suffix -ANUS added to the Roman nomina gentilia which originates from this time period. Sutomišćica

Sutomišćica is a village in Croatia, on the eastern side of the island of Ugljan in the region of Dalmatia. Sutomišćica, which was already inhabited in ancient times, is situated in a beautiful bay of the same name, about 3 km from Preko. On the opposite side of the bay a new marina has been built.

The fishing village is one of the smaller places on the island. In addition to the tourist season, the locals are mostly traditionally involved in olive cultivation and fishing. Orchards in Sutomišćica contain mainly "Puljka" and "Oštrica" olive varieties.
