A googol is the large number 10100 or ten to the power of one hundred. In decimal notation, it is written as the digit 1 followed by one hundred zeros: 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. Its systematic name is ten duotrigintillion (short scale) or ten sexdecilliard (long scale). Its prime factorization is 2100 × 5100.

A googolplex is the large number , that is, raised to the power of a googol. If written out in ordinary decimal notation, it would be followed by a googol (10100) ‌a physically impossible number to write explicitly .

Crore (; abbreviated cr) denotes the quantity ten million (107) and is equal to 100 lakh in the Indian numbering system. In many international contexts, the decimal quantity is formatted as 10,000,000, but when used in the context of the Indian numbering system, the quantity is usually formatted 1,00,00,000.

A lakh (; abbreviated L; sometimes written lac) is a unit in the Indian numbering system equal to one hundred thousand (100,000; scientific notation: 105). In the Indian 2, 2, 3 convention of digit grouping, it is written as 1,00,000. For example, in India, 150,000 rupees becomes 1.5 lakh rupees, written as 1,50,000 or INR 1,50,000.

In the context of numeric naming systems for powers of ten, myriad is the quantity ten thousand (10,000). Idiomatically, in English, myriad is an adjective used to mean that a group of things has indefinitely large quantity.
