VTV1 is a state-owned Vietnamese-language news channel and also the first television channel of Vietnam Television. It has evolved from a general news, sports, and entertainment outlet to a 24/7 all-news station since the 1990s when other VTV channels were introduced.

VTV3 is a state-owned Vietnamese television channel owned by the Vietnam Television, launched officially on 31 March 1996. As the country's first ever sports and entertainment dedicated channel, it broadcasts sporting events and entertainment-oriented programs including music, game shows, leisure & lifestyles, nationally produced, as well as American and Asian series.

VTV4 is a Vietnamese state-owned pay television network, serving as an international channel of Vietnam Television. Launched on January 7, 1998, it offers the three domestic channels to the Vietnamese diaspora worldwide. From March 31, 2018, Vietnam Television stopped broadcasting the channel on foreign satellites.

VTV2 is a Vietnamese television channel owned and operated by state-run VTV Network.
