Anykščiai
Anykščiai (; see other names) is a ski resort city in Lithuania, west of Utena. The Roman Catholic Church of St. Matthias in Anykščiai is the tallest church in Lithuania, with spires measuring in height. Anykščiai has a resort status in Lithuania and is a popular destination of domestic tourism.

Kupiškis
Kupiškis (; ) is a city in northeastern Lithuania. It is the capital of the Kupiškis district municipality, mainly known for its sculptures and fourth biggest water reservoir in Lithuania. Kupiškis is located on the Lėvuo and Kupa rivers. The name of the town comes from the Kupa River. The Gediminas Bridge crosses the Kupa River. There are six parts of the town, which are named:

Troškūnai
Troškūnai () is the second smallest city in Lithuania, with a population of only 378. It is located west from Anykščiai.

Kavarskas
Kavarskas (), with a population of only 700, is the fourth smallest city in Lithuania. The Šventoji River flows through the town. In 1956 near Kavarskas a water lifting station was built and part of the Šventoji River's water was channeled to the Nevėžis River. Nowadays there is a water-power plant operating there.
Subačius
Subačius (; ) is a small town in Panevėžys County, northwestern Lithuania. It is located on the banks of the Viešinta River about west of Kupiškis.
Želva
Želva is a town in Ukmergė district municipality, Vilnius County, east Lithuania. Želva is 14 miles east of the city Ukmergė. According to the Lithuanian census of 2011, the town has a population of 457 people. As a shtetl in the early 20th century, it was known as Pazelva (Hebrew: Podzelva). Its residents were Jewish and primarily spoke Yiddish.

According to a census in 2011, Alanta had 348 residents. It is situated at the crossing of two roads: Molėtai–Anykščiai and Utena–Alanta–Ukmergė. The town's St. Jacob's church was built in 1909.

The town has a Catholic church, which has remained together with manor house, classical architecture palace (18th century) and a park. Taujėnai has a high school, library and a post office (ZIP code: 20054). There is also a monument built in 1928 and rebuilt in 1989 in honor of Lithuanian Independence.

Užulėnis
Užulėnis is a village in Ukmergė District Municipality, Vilnius County, Lithuania. According to the 2001 census, the village had a population of 90 people. The population decreased to 68 at the time of the 2011 census. The village is the birthplace of the first President of Lithuania Antanas Smetona.
