Hemsedal Municipality
Hemsedal is a municipality in Buskerud county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Hallingdal. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Trøym. Hemsedal lies on the Norwegian National Road 52 (Rv 52). Hemsedal Municipality is located northwest of Oslo and from Bergen. In 1897, Hemsedal was separated from Gol Municipality to become a municipality of its own.
Ål

The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Ål. The parish of Aal was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). The area of Hol was separated from the municipality of Aal in 1877 to become a separate municipality.
Røyken
Røyken is a district and village (bygd) and a former municipality in Buskerud, Norway. In 2020 Røyken was merged with the municipalities of Hurum and Asker to form the new Asker Municipality (informally called "Greater Asker") located in the newly formed Viken county. Because Viken seized to exist, all of the new Asker Municipality became part of Akershus County. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Midtbygda. The parish of Røken was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt).

Rollag is a municipality in Buskerud county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Numedal. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Rollag, although the most populated area in the municipality is Veggli. Rollag is bordered in the north by Nore og Uvdal, in the east by Sigdal, in the south by Flesberg, and in the west by Tinn in Telemark.

Geilo
Geilo () is a centre in the municipality of Hol in Buskerud county, Norway. Geilo is primarily a ski resort town, with around 2,500 inhabitants. It is situated in the valley of Hallingdal, 250 km from Oslo and 260 km from Bergen. The Bergen Line facilitated Geilo's development as the first skiing resort in the country, and it is still one of the largest. It is also known for having some of the most luxurious and expensive holiday cabins in Norway. The village is situated on the Lierelva River in the valley of Lierdalen which extends from Drammensfjord north toward Sylling near Tyrifjorden. Lierbyen is located about 39 km from Oslo, about 8 km from Drammen off European route E18. Lierbyen is a part of a greater urban area which also encompasses the villages Lier, Reistad and Kjellstad. The urban area has a population of 4,233 (2007).
