Watermillock
Watermillock is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Matterdale, in the Westmorland and Furness district, in the ceremonial county of Cumbria, England. It is on the western shore of Ullswater, in the English Lake District. In 1931 the civil parish had a population of 448. On 1 April 1934 the civil parish was merged into Matterdale.

Laversdale
Laversdale is a village in Cumbria, England, situated to the north of Carlisle Lake District Airport. In 1870-72 the township had a population of 428. One of its more distinctive buildings is a thatched tithe barn, now a private house. The manor of Laversdale traditionally lies within the parish and bailiwick of Irthington in the Barony of Gilsland, and covers 3200 acres. It was held by the Earl of Carlisle until the 1980s.

Selside
Selside is a small village in rural Cumbria, England, about north of Kendal, close to the A6 road. It is now in the civil parish of Selside and Fawcett Forest, though it was formerly in the parish of Kendal. The population of Whitwell and Selside civil parish taken at the 2011 census was 296.
Calthwaite
Calthwaite is a small village in rural Cumbria, England, situated between the small market town of Penrith and the larger city of Carlisle. It is within of the civil parish of Hesket and the unitary authority of Westmorland and Furness, but historically part of the traditional county of Cumberland. It has a population of around 100 people. In 1870-72 the township had a population of 269 and a railway station.

Crooklands is a hamlet in Westmorland and Furness, Cumbria, England, south of Kendal on the A65 road and the Lancaster Canal. Historically part of Westmorland, it is in the parish of Preston Richard but adjacent to Preston Patrick to the south east, the boundary roughly following Peasey Beck. The adjacent showfield of the Westmorland County Agricultural Society is the venue of the annual Westmorland County Show (first held 1799, moved to this site late 20th century), Country Fest (since 2009) and various other events.

Lindal-in-Furness is a village on the Furness peninsula, in the Westmorland and Furness district of Cumbria, England. Historically in Lancashire, it lies eight miles to the north-east of Barrow-in-Furness, on the A590 trunk road. The civil parish is Lindal and Marton which had a population of 755 at the 2011 Census, and includes the village of Marton.
Hallbankgate
Hallbankgate is a village in Cumbria, England, east of Carlisle. A former coal and lead mining village, it straddles the A689 Brampton to Alston road. Limestone is quarried here and it once had a gasworks and a forge. The village has a primary school, a village shop and tea room and a pub. There are three other hamlets in the civil parish, Farlam, Kirkhouse and Tindale.
Gleaston
Gleaston is a village with a population of around 400 in the Furness area of South Cumbria, situated between the towns of Barrow-in-Furness, Dalton-in-Furness and Ulverston. Historically in Lancashire, the history of the village can be traced as far back as the Mesolithic period and it was the centre of the manor of Muchland in the Middle Ages.
