Utawarerumono is a Japanese tactical role-playing visual novel developed by Leaf, which released in April 2002 for Microsoft Windows as an adult game. It was later ported to the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita with the adult content removed. In releases subsequent to the initial 2002 version, it is known by its more specific title Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen.

is a Japanese light novel series written by Nisio Isin and illustrated by Take. The series is published by Kodansha under the Kodansha Box imprint.
