Shweshwe
Seshweshwe () (also known as Seshoeshoe) is a printed dyed cotton fabric widely used for traditional Southern African Basotho clothing. Originally dyed indigo, the fabric is manufactured in a variety of colours and printing designs characterised by intricate geometric patterns. Due to its popularity, shweshwe has been described as the denim, or tartan, of South Africa.

Mbaqanga () is a style of South African music that emerged in the early 1960s in the urban townships, particularly around Johannesburg. It draws from a variety of ethnic traditions, including Zulu, Xhosa, Sotho, Pedi, and Tsonga musical elements. Mbaqanga blends traditional South African vocal harmonies, rhythmic patterns, and dance styles with influences from marabi, kwela, and Western popular music such as jazz. It continues to influence musicians both in South Africa and globally.

An indaba (; ) is an important conference held by the izinDuna (principal men) of the Zulu and Xhosa peoples of South Africa. (Such meetings are also practised by the Swazi, who refer to them using the close cognate ''''''''''.) Indabas may include only the izinDuna of a particular community, or they may be held with representatives of other communities.
Umngqusho
Umngqusho () is a South African dish based on samp and sugar beans, usually served with hard body chicken which is called umleqwa in isiXhosa. Traditionally a Xhosa staple meal, it has been adopted by other tribes in South Africa as their staple meal as well. This dish is a staple meal for most South African families, referred to as isitambu (stamped corn) by the Zulu people and umngqusho by the Xhosa people.
